The parts you start your build with matter.

Here is a list of PCR preferred parts, in no particular order:

Actions:  Impact Precision, Defiance, Lone Peak

Barrels (blanks):  BRUX, Bartlein, PROOF, Krieger, CRB 

PCR keeps BRUX barrels in stock for $450

Stocks and chassis:  Mcmillan, Manners, MPA, MDT, Foundation

Triggers:  Trigger Tech, Bix n Andy

Bottom metals: Hawkins, Badger, Surgeon, MDT

Muzzle brakes: Area 419, APA, Meraki Machine, Hawkins

Suppressors: Most direct thread, titanium cans

Avoid "quick-release" cans, scope mounts, and other components with precision rifles.

Tikka deserves honorable mention, with note of it being slimmer than most actions.

This slimmer profile means they take barrels with a 1.125" cylinder diameter and are ideal for lighter weight builds.

PCR offers Tikka receiver face truing which allows them to use 1.200" diameter barrels, like M24.

It's preferred that customers supply their own parts. PCR does not order in volume, and pays the same price you pay for your parts.

Phoenix Custom Rifles..

 Will not do rifle builds on actions from Christensen, Savage, Ruger, Browning, or anything Metric.

Does not offer repair/rework services to rifles built incorrectly by other shops.

Will not do chamber work or set-backs on factory barrels.
